Tramore and New Ross

On Tuesday, we went to Tramore, where there is a really pretty beach. We had a short tour of part of the city, and we then got to hang out on the beach.

I am really obsessed with the doors and ivy here

If I could take home an Irish garden with me, I would

Tramore beach!

Some people went surfing, but there really weren't any waves. The weather has been so incredibly nice here!! I decided to walk on the beach and collect data for my research projects.

Some of my friends looking cute in their wet suits

Today, we had a long day of class and a field trip to see Dunbrody, which is a ship that took Irish immigrants to Canada and New York during the Great Famine (potato famine from 1845-1850). It was also called a coffin ship because a lot of people died on the trip. We had dinner at the museum before going on a really neat tour. There were actors who played different people who were actually on the ship- it was really cool!! We also got to go on the ship and look around.

This is an eternal flame that I believe is dedicated to JFK

Friends :)

This is where the lower class stayed; they would have too many people crammed into one bunk.

This is a first class cabin

It was so much fun, but I'm exhausted. We had things to do from 8AM-10PM. Tomorrow we have another field trip day, and I'm really excited!
